April Showers........
.......Bring lots of FLOODING! Alright, so the Rogers Bentonville area didn't get hit with too much severe weather last night, especially not compared to Fort Smith and parts of OK. HOWEVER, we personally experienced some flooding. Levi's sister (who is living in our house) called at 5:30 this morning to tell us that the house was flooding. When Levi arrived there he reported several inches of water in the garage and family room. The front yard was covered out to the street. The drains in the ditch were clogged with debri. so Levi was on his tractor in the middle of this storm clearing it out. The water was starting to damage our new driveway that he put in. These first two pictures are at our house, AFTER he cleared the ditches and the water level had gone down about 3-5 feet. The other two pictures he took on his way back home. Anyone who went to the craft fair at Spanker Creek might recognize the third picture, the other is of an art school with their sculptures getting wet! Crazy Weather! I'm just grateful we didn't have tornadoes!

Whoa that is a lot of water!!! That same system will hit us tonight!! Luckily where we live is higher elevation than a lot of other areas in the city/county. So most of the water runs down and settles some where else. I feel bad for those people. Glad there were no tornados.

Now have Levi take the same pictures when the water has all gone back to normal so we can see the comparison.
