Long time......no post.

Well, it's been a while. I've had kind of a crazy month, so I'm just going to jump right in here and not play catch up yet. I am currently in ElDorado with Jodie and h er kids visiting my Dad. My mom has been out of town for a couple of weeks, so we thought he might like some company. Anyway, if you've visited Jodie's blog you know that it was quite an eventful 6 and 1/2 hrs. down here.
In keeping with the adventurous nature of this last minute trip, it started to pour the first night we were here and it kept raining and raining and raining! We carried the kids out to the car one at a time with an umbrella and headed to the studio to see dad. We were actually caught in a flash flood! We kept finding cars that had stalled and were stuck in the middle of the road. In some places the road was actually flowing, like a river. We had to keep turning around and trying to find alternate routes to the studio. The water was actually 2 feet or more in places! It ended with dad coming out and finding the best route and guiding us to the studio. We made it there safely and not 10 minutes later it was all gone! Can you believe that?
We're here for another day or two, so we'll see what adventures await!
